Where to eat

In addition to the amazing geography and fishing, Assynt also hosts some wonderful places to enjoy first class food. In the village of Lochinver itself there are a number of excellent choices such as The Albannach Hotel, winner of the ‘Sensationally Scottish’ Award in 2005 and holder of a 4 star rating from Visit Scotland, The Inver Lodge Hotel which holds a 4 star AA rating as well as the same from Visit Scotland and you can’t miss the new Caberfeidh Pub/Restaurant which has made a great hit in the village by offering spectacular food at very honest prices!
