How to Get Your Permit

Permits to fish within one, two or all three zones are available from a wide variety of outlets in the area. It’s highly recommended that you visit or make contact with the Tourist Information Centre – telephone the designated Trout Line:- Tel.01571 844497 in Lochinver at some point during your visit as they not only issue permits but can help you book a Fishing Guide or arrange a session with the local Trout Fishing Expert who offers invaluable information about all the trout fishing in the area. They also sell the very helpful new Assynt fishing booklet A Fishing Guide to 30 Lochs of Assynt and have maps to help you navigate your way around the hills and lochs.
