Boats & Engines

The Assynt Angling Group has boats on over 20 lochs that you can choose from. They are all safe and reliable and checked at the beginning and end of each season in addition to being monitored constantly by anglers using them during the season. They all come with anchors and bailers but a drogue is recommended for slowing the drift down in windy conditions. Maintained and reliable petrol engines are also available through the group for use with the boats and can be very useful to cover some of the larger lochs or in stronger wind conditions.
